Hi Verna,
This is a well done poem which reminds us all things end even the strongest mountain can be ruined by a rock slide. The only thing that can't change is God's love.

Many examples of faithfulness here. Many of our earthly loved ones will at times fail, but our Lord will never fail us. His faithfulness is eternal and is an intrinsic part of who He is. Beautifully written.

Amen! Our Lord is truly faithful and shows us what faithfulness is. As it says in 2 Timothy 2:13, it says that even if we are faithless, He remains faithful because He cannot deny Himself. He is faithful in His very nature. Loved how you started with the mountains and the lamp and even our faithful pet. But even our friends can fail us. Our Lord will never fail us. I love that verse you quoted. I'm so thankful for His faithfulness in my life. I can look back at times of His protection when I was unaware I might be in trouble. I love your review, and I'm so glad you are a dear Christian sister!

"Faithful is the mountain rock".... I think ..."faith is the mountain rock" would sound better but I may be wrong.

Thank you, Gypsy so much for your excellent review, and I agree that would sound better. A metaphor would work well there. The only reason I didn't use it is that I was starting the first four stanzas in the same way.

This poem is so true. We can depend on many things for a time but over time most things will let us down. God never wavers. He is totally dependable.
