You write of evil forces approaching and the hair stands up on the back of my neck!

What a tense escape...and now Esther's slipped away?

That clue must present an emotional dilemma for her...

On to the next chapter!

Oh geez. Neither one of us got much sleep last night.

    The coffee helped!

(I wouldn't advise it every night, but it did the trick!)

    I'll sleep tonight.

    (maybe)

LOL...I think Esther is a lot like me... she has something on her mind and she just needs to do it right now. Not tomorrow or in an hour...but now. There aren't words to tell you how much you have made my day! Thank you for reading and enjoying, but especially for finding time to share a few moments with me.
Smiles, hugs, and all my love...Carol

Excellent. Again, you leave the reader wondering what happens next. You do a marvelous job of conveying each character's emotions. Your writing is flawless, and I never spot an error.

Chapter after chapter is full of suspense. As soon as we think things will finally work out, something else happens. Here, they all successfully escape from the evil ones, to discover Esther has gone off on her own, with their only clue. She's a ghost, so all she has to do is silently disappear. I hope Lorrie, James, and Sabastian can locate her. This all takes place while Sandra sleeps.

That's life for you, isn't it? Just when you think you have a handle on what's happening, you learn you had it all wrong. Glad I can keep you guessing and you are enjoying the story. Thanks as always.

Has Esther gone back to William, Will, and Billy? She is playing a key role now, if she does have a clue. The trouble with all these ghosts is their ability to disappear, and appear, at will. A dramatic chapter with the three having to run for their lives!

Hmmm...a good detective you will make, Wendy! No one else has suggested that. I just hope the evil ones don't follow her.
Thanks for the review and the thoughts.

Nothing like a death or death race through the forest to keep their spirits sort of alive. They all make it to the carriage house only to discover Esther has disappeared, apparently with the only clue.

Yes, Esther is troubled, not wanting to lose the love of her life again and not knowing what will happen. I think her heart will lead her in the right way.

Oh dear what a lot of melodrama due to Esther. I have expected to hear the organ playing. She's really the old-fashioned female heroine. Glad she has some good level heads like Lorrie and Madeline on her side. Now to see where she disappeared to! Oh no!

Remember she lived in the late 1800s... a long time ago. I don't think she will run far especially after finding her son and grandson and William. Her heart is in the right place.

Oh boy. Esther and Madeline did it now. I got lost a bit in wondering if Sebastian should be "Glowed or Glowing" with confidence. First time. Second time he was glowing seemed to fit. Still not sure. Enjoying. Esther

Wow things are hotting up, this story will be stretching your imagination Carol, the way the deceased act and resolve things would be different to the living, but they are still bound by the laws God has set in place to give order to a disorderly people, and they that find it will survive, but with faith in God, beautifully written blessings. I believe all the good ones will do the right thing in the end...at least I hope so. I get attached to my characters and would hate to see any of them settling in with the devil. LOL

Now we have to wonder what happed to Esther. Their chance for redemption just keeps slipping away. I not she had Esther had the clue all these years but I'm sure there is a reasson. I will look forward to finding out. I guess the evil ones want to stop this group for finding thier way out since they are already lost;

Esther didn't have the clue until she was sitting with William and he kept murmuring words and she put it together. Now she is afraid that William, Will and Billy will find redemption when the treasure is found, but she doesn't know where that will leave her. Will she get redemption or does she need to do something else. And yes the evil ones are just evil and want to strike like the devil until they can't anymore. Thanks so much for the review, Beth. Appreciate it very much.
