Holy cow am I behind or what!? It's going to take a week or more to carefully read the many chapters ahead of me, after this one! (No worries, I'll get to them all!
In this chapter there seems to be a coming together of many generations of spirits - you bring such emotion and meaning to the redemption of souls who may have passed but are working hard to make things right.
I hope this is the case in our real lives!
One of the many appealing things about your book is that you open doors and show opportunities for "spirits" to interact with the living and try to work through unfinished (and often unknown) business.
Billy has met his dad! I'm hoping to squeeze in one more chapter today...
Great writing, Carol!

Oh my sweet Karenina, I am beyond thrilled to see you today. I tried to email but I'm locked out of my accounts. Not sure what I did but I'll figure it out I hope.
Now to your review. I couldn't have asked for anything better. You are connecting to my characters and the emotions I was trying to get people to feel. It's how I too envisioned how life should be with the ones here and beyond. I always hope that there is a connection that links us forever regardless of where we are. Thank you so much for this awsome review and for just being here.
You have no idea how that little picture of yours lifts my spirits and makes me smile.
Love ya, Carol

And you have no idea how much I've missed you...and this story! You are very successful in broadening this "ghost story" into a most meaningful reading experience. Whatever your spiritual muse is whispering to you? It's right!

For once, I must say, I feel really good when I sit down in the early morning hours and write. The story comes to be and then it wants to grow and grow, I love my characters and I like giving them life, regardless whether a few pm and say they don't think that's how it would be. They might be right but have they every hung out with a ghost? It's fiction and I write what I feel. Love ya!

It's your ball, your glove, your bat and your ballpark! (Smiling here)
I think you're doing a great job while carving out a unique new genre of spirts and renewal...
-
I don't like scary ghosts and gore so I am perfectly fine with my spirits and how they seem to interact with people.
-
I love the "aura" getting fainter, or glowing as the spirit reacts...
SO good!

To mr. their entire body shows their emotions. Wouldn't that be wonderful? No guessing how someone feels. LOL

I managed to get WiFi but only in the town so I'm catching up your book.
This was a shocker for Billy! But he was able to speak with his grandfather for a few precious moments, and now he's meeting his grandmother!
It's hard to write on here, but I will go and review the next chapter. So good to read this again! Love you lots! Sandra xxxx

Oh, Sandra, I was thrilled to see your face looking back at me as I flipped to my reviews. Thank you for thinking of me while you are on your vacation. I hope you are having a wonderful time.
So much has happened in the book in the short time that you've been gone. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read so you won't be so far behind.
Your lovely face has made my day. And of course, your comments and the stars. Awesome!
Thank you so much. Smiles, hugs and love, Carol

The plot to this novel is amazingly imaginative. Generations of souls in purgatory, all connected in some way, come together, seeking redemption as not to be doomed to spending eternity in hell.
There are certain descriptions scattered throughout the story that I especially like, because I can actually hear the scene. In this chapter, the description is, "A chorus of angelic voices filled one corner of the room while evil whisperings hung far back." For me, the angelic voices are high pitched and airy harmonic chants of praise, while evil low pitched indistinguishable murmurs rattle in the background.
Sorry, but you have a vivid imagination and trigger the imagination of your readers. You've given us mystery, suspense, undying love, comedy and horror. I'm truly enjoying this.

Don't be sorry, my friend. That's awesome that your imagination takes something from my efforts and enjoys it. I couldn't ask for anything more. Appreciate YOU as always. The stars are a bonus gift but your loyalty to the story and its writer is the best.

With all these characters, I sometimes lose track of who's who. I have to backtrack and figure it out. I'm not complaining, though. The story is marvelous, and I enjoy each new chapter.

I believe this next chapter will clear up quite a few of the relationships...or at least I hope so. Thanks for your kindness and the review.

They are all starting to come together and discover their family. I see why Will chose to go to Purgatory to save his grandfather, which also helps him find his extended family. Sebastion seems to think they will make things right and save everyone. I don't quite understand how Tim is Sandra's father and ended up a ghost at the mansion, but I assume that will all be explained.

Tim was at the wrong place at the wrong time when Sandra was 4 years old. He was swept up in one of the raids on the Judge's crew and was murdered. He met the others when he ended up in purgatory and became friends with them...thus his interest in the treasure and the girl investigating it. Hope that explains it for you.
Thanks as always and especially for the lovely stars. You are so kind.

Well, there seems to be a glimmer of hope for everyone and maybe even Victoria if she really does get the forgiveness that she asked for. I'm glad that people are finally meeting their ancestors!

There always has to be a glimmer of hope, doesn't there, Helen? We have to see the light at the end of the tunnel and keep striving to get there. Thank you for continuing to read the story. I appreciate it very much.

The threads are now coming together in a fine tapestry. All the complex relationships, loves, jealousies are all being resolved very positively. Well done.

Good morning, Wendy. I hope I am getting things to come together in an orderly fashion...well, as much as my befuddled brain will allow. I tried to knock some sense into me yesterday when I accidently stepped on a rake buried in the weeds... pow! A hit in the head and an ungrateful fall to the ground (Just missed the pond - Thank you, my Lord). It's a rough world in my backyard. LOL

Again, I must commence with an apology. An apology for not having kept one six-star award. This is as good as anything I've ever read on Fanstory. Your writing is exceptional, and it leaves this reader wanting more. Where can I find that more. Your characters are believable, there is intrigue and I believe there is so much more to this story. Great writing.

Good morning, Bob. It's so nice to meet you and to see a fresh pair of eyes on my story. (One I almost stopped writing in the beginning because I didn't think I could do it justice.) I am beyond thrilled that you enjoyed it enough for a virtual six and have started reading from the beginning. NOt many would do that! I will look forward to hearing what you think and if you would have expected anything different.
Thank you again!

I love these connections, coming together, I guess our roots are actually important, I've never met or known neither of my two grandfathers, you've created a sort of purgatory, the catholic place of inbetweens, but really there's no longer any such place now, but a great story. Well done Carol, blessings Roy

I certainly hope that none of my acquaintances or loved ones would ever find themselves trapped in such a crazy place, but it definitely makes for a wild story. I don't even know how the idea formed in my brain. I think it's called entertainment from the dusty corridors of time. LOL

People have trouble keeping up with the character in my family, but I think you've got a lot more dead ones to keep up with than I do. All of the Ghosts meeting their fathers and grandmothers for the first time is giving my brain a workout. LOL You have come up with very unique story. At least I've never read anything like itl. LOL

Other than those waiting to continue their journey into hell, there's only a few active characters to follow, just like one big unhappy family. (about ten or so I think... Keeps you guessing what who is saying to who and what is going on. LOL Thanks so much for your comments. Have a great day!
