This sounds like a crazy household. This is what it is like for a family with kids getting ready in the mornings. Sometimes it seems like there is no peace. YOu brought that across well.

The cat and the mouse game in this story, and it happened within a stressed house. This story reminds me of Tom and Jerry. This might be a comic in the making.

Your short story captures a busy morning in a family so well! I love how each family member adds to the noise. Dad's outburst was so funny! I love the sudden hush that follows! Is the threat that the cat outside will eat them? haha This was such a fun and enjoyable read. Great job!

Hmm, interesting. In this 'story' I recommend editing it for run-on sentences. That middle one seems way too long and grammatically incorrect. Other than that, I wish you good luck in the contest.
