These light are really beautiful. I've always wanted to see them but I didn't look the first night. I couldn understand why my computer kept going off but I"m sure it was the solar storm. The second night no one around Chattanooga saw any.

Yes, it is amazing, Patricia. I am so used to seeing the northern lights against the backdrop of snow and conifers that it seems unreal to view them in any other context. The photograph and poem go well together to create an unforgettable vision of beauty.

Those wonderful lights were visible in my home town and state, but not where I am now. So, thank you for reminded me I may have moved a bit prematurely. Oh, well, everyday shows me more of God's wonders.
