Another fine poem, Gypsy....and I can't imagine what you had to deal with. Both my parents were still here until Dad passed away last year and he was fading mentally for years and we expected it

I'm sorry your mother died when you were so long. I know that had to be very difficult. A mother's love can't be replaced, but I know she was looking over you and her love was in your heart. This is a beautiful presentation.

I am so sorry for your loss. May your dear mother continue to rest in peace. My daughter in law's name means "mother's love" in the Gujurati language. She is an excellent and caring mother. The one thing she never did when her children were small was to play games with them. She wasn't brought up that way.
I was touched by the longing in your poem, Gypsy. My father's second wife died young and her children have never really got over that loss.
