Lost love is painful, but I'm betting the memory of times together is even more painful. Thank you for sharing your God given talent with us. This entire emotional presentation was wonderful.

Very well written poem of lost love. Although as you say you chose to write from the POV of a man, you express universal feelings. I can almost hear the tears behind that final line, "I lost her"
Excellent romantic images.
As always in your free verse, the line breaks create their own rhythm.
Thanks for sharing
Blessings, Julia

Very well done, and also for changing up the emotion, we all should think about how someone else maybe feeling about loss and grief, beautifully written and presented****kahpot

You did a great job in your Neruda - inspired poem. I especially liked "all that remains are dying embers and emptiness." A lost love must feel like that.

Another fine poem, Gypsy......and one that captures the confusion of relationships and the lies we tell ourselves to survive what can be a traumatic event in our lives, or at the very least the bewilderment one feels at losing a major piece of your life

A great collection of short verses in which we we see great abstraction of conversing with the wind and all that entails, that's such a very good thing, it sparks the creative in us. Beautifully written, blessings Roy
