I saw that this needed one more for ATB, and others have done this for me, so . . .
Congratulations on your wedding anniversary. My husband and I were also married in May, but we're 10 years behind your accomplishment.
Our neighbor took to making Limoncello during Covid and would deliver it to our back door in the evenings. It was so delicious, but we only ever had one at a time.
Thanks for sharing your recipe:-)

Hi John,
Belated Happy 45th! I like the sound of Limoncello. We have a birthday party on Saturday for my mum so I think Limoncello ice pops will go down well. Thank you! Oh by the way I don't understand your last two words, I'm Irish.. Lol!
All the best,
Jill.

Hi John,
take two: what kind of gremlins decide to ruin such an articulate first review draft? Obviously didn't like me playing Iron butterfly while I was writing the review? Yes, went from In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida straight to Metamorphosis... thank you for a perfect music choice to allow the appropriate groove to reach the optimal alcohol level for the Limoncello to work its magic.
Now, you already know I grew up in a heavily populated Italian community and yes, Limoncello crossed my lips once or twice, along with all the homemade wine and grappa... it probably conditioned me to the high content of alcohol I ended up consuming through my formidable years.
So, thank you so much for sharing both recipe and music as I finish off with another round of... well, you know I don't drink alcohol these days, but I take another shot of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida as I come to the end of this review... thanks Brother!
With our thoughts we create...
the magic years of yesterdays.
Warm regards,
James.

Hi John, your story got buried in my in-box--sorry about that. Congratulations on your 45th wedding anniversary. May your days be filled with many more happy memories.
I enjoy reading your story. Limoncello seems easy enough to make.
An easy and fun-to-make drink is a double win! Buying organic lemons was a great tip. Yes, our fruits are waxy.
As always, your story is uplifting, and it made me smile. Well done.
Once again, congratulations on your wedding anniversary. Margaret

"Well, why fall into the same rut and make lemonade" Put a question mark at the end of this sentence.
"Though "life" didn't provide me with the bushel of lemons, I went out and purchased my own." Ha! Good for you.
" limoncello packs a strong punch -- so make sure to drink responsibly!" Which, to me, means a lot--and often! Ha!
Well crafted, tasty-imagery packed piece here. You seem to know your liqueurs and cuisines. I enjoyed it.

You had me at Limoncello Mint Mojito and tiramisu... my favorite cake and drink.
It seems like you enjoy the culinary arts and you know your way around the kitchen. I always enjoy your recepies...it's very impressive.
Check this out....

First, may I extend a heartfelt Happy Anniversary to you and your wife. Celebrating 45 years is almost unheard of these days. And she certainly must enjoy being entertained by the music, the coffee, and everything you cook in the kitchen...especially with so much joy. I'm a one-glass-of-wine person, so I think your concoction would knock me over. Enjoy it!
Smiles, Carol

Thank you so much for sharing this, John. I really enjoyed reading it. Now, I have one advantage. I live in Spain in the part where citrus trees are grown and the fruit exported to all parts of Europe . So guess what. I have my own homegrown lemons.
Thanks for sharing this recipe. Ulla:)))

Go for it. With homegrown lemons I?m sure it?ll taste that much better. You?ll have to send me a bottle, haha.
Thank you, Ulla.

Excellent!
I always wonder at the phrase: If life gives you lemons. They're free! for crying-out-loud. And lemons are good. There are a thousand things you can do with them. Crimony! Remind me not to offer anything to any of those people. And remember not to look a gift horse in the mouth. (smiley face here)
