I'm trying to select six stars but my menu won't drop down far enough, so my apologies. Just wanted to congratulate you on your clever win! I enjoyed your story very much. Quite original!

Thank you, Lori, for taking the time to let me know you enjoyed my story. I appreciate your kind words.
Comment from Gloria ....
Congratulations on your well-deserved win. This is a most clever write and I particularly enjoyed Alliteration scurrying across the blank page.
Didn't even bother to look back.
Congrats again. :)

Hi Ginda,
This is a succinct description of how writers block forms. It is sometimes scary how fast ideas disappear when you sit down to write. I like the personification of the writing tools
Keep writing and stay healthy
Congrats on the contest win.
Have a great weekend.

Well, it seems that these characters did not all disappear because you used them to write a first-place winning dribble fiction:-) Very clever, indeed. Congratulations on the win - I enjoyed the read.

Wow, thank you times seven.

Who has not experienced something like this as a writer?
I like how you personify Idea, Rhyme, Meter, Metaphor and Alliteration who run across your page and disappear. I like your droll humor here. Rod

Hi there,
This gave me a good chuckle this morning. Isn't that just the way things go. how many times? You can't cage the little blighters either!
Good little piece with an on-the-money word count

This is an excellent Dribble Flash Fiction contest entry. It made me chuckle as I began reading, but I laughed when I reached the end. I mainly write prose. Plot, conflict, challenge and resolution go where ever your poetry characters go. I enjoyed this story because I can relate. Best wishes in the contest.

Ha! What a spectacular Dribble Flash Fiction entry. So your muse scurried away and left you without a piece.
But then, she obviously returned and helped you pen this fantastic works.
Good on you!
