A sweet and warm poem of two people who are too shy to express their feelings for each other.
It captures this readers heart. I enjoyed reading.
Best wishes

This is cute. They're both shy :) Ohh, the beginning stages of love. I don't think there's anything quite like it. Mature love is good but this type of innocent, childlike love has a special place is many people's hearts I imagine. Good job

Hi Ginda,
This is a smoothly metered poem with unforced rhyme. It shows these two people love each other but let shyness get in their way. If he could make the effort so could she. Maybe she can exchange letter for letter and then that will make it easier to talk face to face.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Congrats on placing second in the contest.
Have a great day.

Thank you for sharing this contest entry with us. I see it was also a NaProWriMo 2024 challenge entry. This entry is a tender romance and I happen to love romance. Thank you for sharing it with us. Good luck with the contest.

Great description of one who is too timid to express his feelings for a woman. I love the humorous twist at the end. Great rhymes and steady rhythm to your sweet poem. Best wishes in the contest. Carol

Lol. Well, that's a stalemate if both are going to be that shy! I think she has to bite the bullet and express her thanks, at least! Enjoyed your humorous story in verse. Best wishes in the contest!

This is such a sweet poem about two timid people who are afraid to express their feelings - hopefully it will work out! Very Victorian in its style. I enjoyed this romantic piece

Lovely! I hope they both found the courage to connect, and that a new and happy love relationship was born through the power of the written word. Well written. I like the little twist at th end. Best wishes for the contest.

Quite a well-done number twenty-seven. I do the like that little turn-about at the ending.
Made me wonder what percentage of people are actually shy. Interesting.
Good job and good luck in the competition.
