what is behind the curtains?
What a stunning image!
Your tanka holds an ethereal sensation within its delivery, composition and intent. The echoes you have created would have definitely reached their chosen destination on the south wind of every perfectly timed beat of your heart.
So beautifully presented(well that is a given!) But for me personally... the way in which these words float in the middle of the air, allow a magic space in my heart.
Hey, now I'm waiting for the northerly to start blowing here!
With our thoughts we create...
the receptive echoes written in the wind.

Hehe ... I will have to remember to write about the north wind for you. To me, southern wind and passion are hot LoL It's good to cool off sometime....... Nobody undresses my poetry the way you do.. it's like you can look inside my mind. I will have to start charging you rent. LoL Thank you for the exceptional six-star review and insightful feedback.

This had a very ethereal feel to it. Like someone channeling their love and presence to each other. Like telling someone to look at the stars and knowing the other is looking at them too. It makes you feel connected. Beautiful. Gretchen

We are always with our loved ones in spirit, even though we may not be there in person. I know my children and their families are always a part of me even though we live miles apart. Thank you for sharing your God given talent with us.

This is definitely a continuing if the love between a woman and her man. It gives me tge feeling that they were together earlier and now she is remembering the occasion.

I guess in spirit, the narrator is like the South Wind and they have crossed the seas to to the one that they miss and blew right into the home. Love will find a way!
