Thank you for sharing this Minute poem contest entry with us. This is a beautifully written poem of new love. The poem is just as gentle as that love. Good luck with the contest.

I find it comforting to think back to the early days when love was new and about to bloom into longterm love as you show here. From new it grows and over the years it changes, but those early memories stay with us. Nicely done with your Minute poem Ginda. Good luck in the contest.

This is an excellent little love poem written as a minute poem. It describes young love so well. There was a time when just being together out in nature was pure bliss. Back in those days, we were willing to give love a chance ro grow. The minute foremat is perfect for this poem. It should do well.

Thank you, Beth, for your kind words about my minute poem.

This nostalgic Minute poem about new love should have universal appeal.
You set the scene very well. It's easy to see that flowered hill on a cloudless day.
I especially like how you suggest young lovers' innocence in stanza two.

Ah. this poem is so beautiful in its simplicity recalling the first gentle stirrings of love in the human heart and what an interesting name for a hill' Cow's Hill.

Beautiful in its simplicity. One never knows, but one remembers, and looking back, sees the beauty and innocence, and yes, the depth of committed love. Best wishes for the contest.

A lovely minute poem that honors the budding of a new relationship so many years ago. It is a beautiful entry for the contest. I'm sure it will do well. Especially since it's biographical!

Your syllable counts are perfect and the rhymes are good in this minute poem entry for the contest. I'm glad your love has grown over the years and that the two of you are still loving and caring for each other. Prayers for your strength as you continue to care for your hubby. Blessings. Carol

This was a sweet and romantic poem. When things are new, it seems like it will be that way forever. However, if you stay together, things either grow or fade away. I'm glad this one grew. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

Such a beautiful poem to read. The descriptions were lovely, but it was that last verse that made this special. A new love blooming and growing stronger as time passes.
A perfect picture to illustrate the poem too.
