I liked this entry not just because of your talent, but my favorite play is "The Fantasticks" and in it, a character, a father, speaks about the dangers of overwatering plaints. Thanks for posting!

Oh, nothing saddens me more than to see a plan die from overwatering. I am guilty of doing so all too often. Orchids are so sensitive and seem to thrive on little attention. Your poem makes this point quite clear. My wife does not let me water her orchids anymore. Rod

An excellent entry for the Haiku Poem writing prompt. A creative way to describe orchids and very accurate. I especially liked the last line. Treat them nice and you will be throwing them in the trash soon. Ignore them and give them very little care and you will be rewarded. Nice job.
