Great Haiku and oh so true, Prefect syllabi count, in the present tense and picture chosen is also perfect. I really love the last line it has a real twist to it. Keep writing

This is very well done. Excellent concrete imagery to provide the setting and then the fact that a newspaper serves as a good blanket when one has very few resources.
