MariVal...
this poem evokes thoughts that divide and go in different directions within my mind.
I just had this thought of... I know Jesus is within me, as his ideals are ingrained within my heart and soul... and I've never looked at it that way before... or maybe I have and not verbalised it? Hmmmm?
And then I'm flooded with singing 'try a little tenderness' in my mind as I'm reading... Otis Redding's dulcet tones echoing in my brain... and well, that's my end goal... to learn, become one, join in the rhythms of Mother Source, Mother Earth... Mother Nature to embrace everything with tenderness.
Such a beautiful composition that floods the mind with the truth of our existence.
Of course there will always be the naysayer, the greedy, the bad and ugly evil... that is nature's balancing act... every player acting their part... the shade and light in the contrast of each individual's choice of direction... I choose tenderness!
Stunningly beautiful!
With our thoughts we create...
a divine connection.
Warmest regards,
James.

James! it's so good to hear from you. I hope all is well and Friday was good. It's finally over.
I have been thinking about Jesus a lot lately. I am not religious but I believe in God... the divine, the source, love. I think a book I'm reading is reflected in my writing. Jesus was such a great teacher of love. I will tell you more later.
Thank you very much for the exceptional six stars review and feedback.

A beautifully inspired poem. The presentation and artwork, as always, really adds to your piece. The message is complex in its simplicity. With love all things are possible. Thanks for sharing.

I am currently reading a powerful book about prayer, and it's taken me to a deeper spiritual place. Since beginning to read it I find so many ways the Lord had nudged me to discover a message from His heart. This is another one...and I came here from chapter two--which I will read and review next. Faith of a mustard seed? Indeed!

We should accept and welcome everyone with open arms and a willing heart. Some will reject it but that shouldn't stop us from trying. It's their problem not ours. I really enjoyed this poem. Thank you.

This is well-written. This poem is a reminder of the tenderness and love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The poem reads and flows well. Your message is clear. Nice picture too.

Wonderfully written. You did very well in authoring this poem. It's exactly how you feel; if we love Him; His love has amazing results and if we don't love Him, the road is difficult to travel. I love writing about God and Jesus, too.

love the repeating line - it flowed very well
and i so agree many people either don't learn... or just don't care...
they rather stay
inside their golden palaces
with a perverse foundation
built on the unseen poor
[they rather stay] - though i did trip on this line - i think it should be "they'd rather stay"
(or it could be just me lol)
great poem!
thank you for sharing

Easter has really got you going. I am working on a story about the original Easter bunny myself. I have never seen one. Are you planning an easter egg hunt? I have no grandkids. Wish I did. I would spoil them rotten. :-) Karen

I used to read science fiction because they were a form of escape, but really they didn't provide any hope as such, but when I met the source of all hope, I keep writing about it, because I can't believe that people are happy with the false hope of this world. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Worth 6. So true and summarizes the Easter story so well. Without Jesus's love and willingness to come to Earth to restore us to relationship there would be nothing to celebrate. Thanks for sharing that. Loved it. Esther
