Well so they got all that out of the way and that is good. Now they can finally work on their relationship. That is a great and important start. I liked the dialogue. It was very realistic. Ulla:)))

Thanks so much, Ulla. Nothing to stop them now. Everything's in the clear.

It was an interesting idea to continue the story with an interview with a radio therapist. It reminded me of the TV show with psychiatrist, Dr. Frasier Crane, played by Kelsey Grammer. Alan received great advice from Dr. Gwen, and used it.
I enjoyed Chapter 18 because it made everything right. Alan and Ginnie were both honest with each other and we'll see what happens next.

Thanks, Lorraine. Hopefully it will be easier going now for these two, now that everything is out in the open. Alan, especially, is due for a break. Glad you liked the call-in radio show.

This is another excellent chapter. I think you handled the baring of souls between Alan and Ginnie very well.I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Thanks, Lee. This was an emotional scene for both of them. Hopefully they can get past this and start to move forward.

It is interesting that he called Dr. Gwen, but then he doesn't really have anyone to talk to because he sees his friend only infrequently. It is great that they could tell each other about the problems in their lives and they now understand each other. Seems a little too simple for his life.

I think he deserves a little simplicity in his life for a while. Have no fear; it will get complicated again.

The Dr. Gwen phone in was a good way to show Alan 's thoughts on Ginnie. Great chapters Jim and I loved that her slice was Crow pie. Well written, I'm enjoying this.
Cheers

Thanks very much, Valda. That talk show reminds me of one I used to love to listen to years ago. As sorry as Ginnie was, she still was able to keep her sense of humor with the crow pie.

Isn't that good,? Alan seeks advice about what he should do concerning Ginnie because of her reaction to believing gossip, from an acquaintance. But it finishes well with both sharing emotionally, so they decide that they will see how hit works out, beautifully written blessings Roy

Thanks so much, Roy. Perhaps a fresh start with the air now cleared for the two of them will put them on the right footing to move forward.

Well done

You did a fabulous job with this chapter of confession and reconciliation. You made Ginnie's case completely understandable considering all her experiences with men. I like the compassion that Alan has and how he wanted to be completely open with her from this point on. I think it feels like a good relationship forming!

Thanks very much, Helen. Let's hope that a final clearing of the air will be just the thing they need. It's hard having those demons in your past, but it's so much better when you can share them.

Sorry I don't have a six for you. Two excellent chapters, and, yes, I am happy that everything is out in the open now. It will be a fresh start for both. Well written, and interesting from start to finish.

You have true feelings for your writing that stand out right away. You cleaned that up good. These days, my reviewing is slow. I am
hibernating. My pain is such that I am taking my aspirin whenever I wake up after fours or more of sleep. I am keeping track of my dosage times. Then, I drink some liquid, eat a pouch of tuna, and crawl under my heated blankets and pads. Off to sleep I go, Karen :-)

Thanks, Karen. I hope that writing and reviewing can help take your mind off the pain, at least for a while. It's hard when it takes such dominion over your life.

I have the problems and the pain, but I do not let it run my life. It is my life and I run it thank you very much. :-)

Good for you!

Hello Jim,
I was blown away by these two chapters. The dialogue of the radio call in show was fabulous. The host actually had some good advice. The whole thing was so absolutely believable. I have to say, Ginnie has some baggage because of her dealing with men in the past, but she's got a lot of character too. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of both of these folks. Well done my friend. Very enjoyable read.
Have a blessed evening.

Thanks very much, Tom, and for those 6 stars too. 18 was a pretty emotional chapter for me to write too. Both got some deep-seated issues off their chests and out in the open which is what it will take to be able to move forward. Hopefully, it's all uphill from now on. Or is it downhill? I'm never sure about that expression.

I understand the confusion!
