Haha, this is pure truth. I just read your poem for the Senryu contest, and at first I completely glossed over the description (which revealed that the poem was about the flawed political voting system). I thought maybe this poem was some kind of super meta poem about voting in poetry contests. It totally works in that context. But it also totally works as a poem about presidential elections. Either way, it gets my vote for this contest, but not for lack of a better option.

This is a well-written poem. The message in your poem is good. Your last line is sad but, in my opinion, true. Your 5-7-5 syllable count is in good order for this contest. Nice job.

Ah Dolly, one used to be able to admire or respect politicians even if they represented what you would not vote for. As for our current PM he is a total dipstick. Thankyou for your review
