Yes, it's all quite perplexing, and you laid it out well here with your tongue-in-cheek references and questions. Cute, clever, and totally avoiding any potential "offenses" that lurk everywhere these days. I felt the use of "Your Lordship" was quite overdone, though. For awhile, I thought you were doing that to set me up for a joke down the line, but when that didn't happen, then it just felt a little like, "Mommy...Mommy...Mommy...Mom...Mommy... Mom..." If you put your own name in where you currently have "Your Lordship," I think you'll see my point.

He may have some problem connecting the Rabbits and eggs to the babe born at Christmas but then he likely had some some trouble connecting Christmas ttees and candy canes. at Christmas. This was fun to read.

So clever. Loved the reference to hot cross buns and the other Easter symbols. I also loved the formal way of talking (I will endeavor to do so, my Lordship). Yes, indeed! Earthling Christmas utilised a different format - it was a series of reports from Dvorzgah to the Most High Overlord about various aspects of Christmas celebrations in Melbourne. Thanks for this lovely feedback! :)

It can be hard to explain the customs that various groups on earth have to those who reside amongst us, I can only imagine the difficulty it would present to anyone who wasn't well versed in the subjects of Easter and Christmas. I've never understood the whole rabbit and eggs thing, but I was always happy to go along with it. Thanks for sharing this gal.

Dialogue only - thank you for using quotations instead of different colors, or some other gimmickry. Dialogue is in quotations in literature. Not that I am an eccentric legalist, I am not, but for crying out loud. If the rules said poetry, do I make it look like prose? Without any form whatsoever?

I loved the high-flown vocabulary of the delegate from the Regal High Command and the habit he had of cutting Dvorzgah in mid-speech. The poor fellow had trouble getting a word in edgeways at times. There is much potential for cutting satire in any follow-up. You have already raised the puzzling mix of Christianity and more ancient folklore, which is a fertile topic for investigation. Dvorzgah has the outside perspective of a Gulliver, which allows you as much leeway as Swift gave himself! Nothing short of a six for this one.
