Sounds like a stern and personal talking to. Seems like a hard decision approaches. I sense fear and confusion. Takes one to know one. Good stuff, lots of heart and soul and more than anything, human.

This is quite an interesting diatribe of angst. (Ohhh great title. Gonna save that one!).
I like the overall sense of mourning and loss that this piece gives off.

It's funny how most people will say trust my heart, but I found out a long time ago that the heart is one's emotions, when I went to the races after I woke up feeling lucky, I would more often than not come home with and empty wallet, so much for trusting one's heart. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

Very emotionally expressed poem about betrayal. You point out accurately that the pain comes from those who you consider friends as enemies don't have that sort of power. I like the formatting you used also. Thanks for sharing! Julie
