Ooof, I worked on a substance abuse unit in a psych hospital. Oxy was one of the word. They have no idea: "OxyContin ER, 10 mg." They're more concerned with the consequences of getting caught rather than the consequences of getting addicted. That's complicate it by having someone be pregnant. I'm on to the next chapter.

Thank you so much Liz for jumping into this twisted road called life. The characters rarely stop to think of consequences and unfortunately they get away with it until it's too late. I hope you continue to read and follow the story. Thank you. Carol

So, that's why Gabby was throwing up! And now we begin to see how trouble is brewing for the friend group of 3. Not only do we know a bit more about the pills Natasha stole from her grandmother, but that her friend is pregnant. On top of that, her relationship with the father has fallen apart.

Great job,
Hugs,
Rhonda

Hello, and thank you again. Yes the three girls will travel some difficult roads (some they chose and others thrust upon them). Their bonds will be tested.

Ah, that explains the puking in the Biology Class! I suspected it and I wonder if the nurse had an inkling. I guess her previous statement of her not being alive could be related to this. I hope Nat and Becky can figure out something to help her.

Gabby will need lots of help and unfortunately she can't always expect anything from the homefront. The road is going to get mighty rocky and she'll have to choose which path to take.

This work has reached the exceptional level

Is that why he finished with her? It might ruin his reputation and his football career!! That poor girl! Yet he chose her to be his lab partner? Does he know? This is awful! Now I have to wait for you to write or post the next chaper!! This was incredibly well written, Carol, you caught every emotion perfectly. Very well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

My dear Sandra... because it matters in the next few chapters, I need to make something clear. Jason is the current boyfriend and football player interested in his future and not hers. Dion is the star quarterback, Biology classmate, and a young man interested in getting to know Gabby. Sorry if I didn't make that clear enough. As for the glittery stars... I am blessed to have you as a friend. My thoughts don't move as quickly across the page any more....but I think the writing bug is beginning to blossom. Thanks to you as well!!!

Well, it sounds like these kids are in over their heads. I feel for Gabby, and I hope she's not planning on doing something drastic. I'm wondering if she's even told Jason that she's pregnant. Suggestion: They'll assume she (misplaced) them. Good dialogue to move the story forward.

Life got in the way again and I apologize for my delay in thanking you for reading another chapter in my story. Gabby has mixed emotion and little support from home.... And of course, Jason doesn't seem any better. Thank you for taking the time to read and enjoy.

I expected this and am not surprised. I am really liking this story. Now, I'm wondering what's these girls will do next. Thank you for sharing.

"Shut up Nat! (comma after 'up')

Becky jumped out of the beanbag and sat down beside Gabby. (you can omit 'down')

This story explains why teens should listen to their parents. This reminds me of the song lyrics "Why can't they be like we were...perfect in every way. What's the matter with kids today."

All three girls made bad, immature decisions, including taking two or three pills from a customer's prescription, stealing an elderly person's medication, and engaging in unprotected sex. They will probably all learn a lesson the hard way.

This is another excellent chapter--the dreaded event for a high schooler. All of your chapter endings keep me wanting to read. I do not see any need for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Yes, and the decisions that come with it will haunt a girl throughout her entire life. Each of these girls will walk a rocky road of their own making and hopefully make the right decision.

Gabby has her pregnancy problem and Natasha's stolen her grandmother Oxycotin to sell. If this is that close to what is really happening with these girls, no wonder you haven't written lately, You've had your hands full.
