such a lovely thought to be swept by trade winds to a beach of longing... where you allow passion to give and take all.
I love the ambiguous intent within the verse of...
take me tonight
like you never have before...
could be you actually never had before, or as your next line refers to... we'll pretend to be strangers.
No matter the intricacies, it sounds like one hot rendezvous in such a perfect setting.

This was very much a spicy poem. About romance and adding something more than the usual passion. I really liked this. Especially the line about the Southern wind. Very tropical feeling. Gretchen

There is a magic atmosphere with this poem. I could feel it as I read. Yes, being swept away by the wind, or slight breeze and end up on a magical beach with a lover. It doesn't get any better than that. I loved the presentation.

Your poems always have some magic to them. They always end in an unexpected ending. I could feel the waves sweeping onto the shore and bringing a body to the surface. Unexpected love that is not dead.

That's a passionate poem and it shows a lot of deep yearning for the absent lover. But in their hearts and minds, they can close the gap and imagine being on the same shore.
