I really like this! The picture is evocative and your messaging is right on point. If the little critters can manage, then so can we, and it only needs to be one tiny little step at a time. :)

I know you are wise. I'm a fan and I follow what you share. This is a poetically eloquent metaphor for what we all must do! Break the biggest tasks down to their smallest components and carry on. I'm a huge fan of tiny steps. Progress, it is said, is a game of inches. If we're going forward, we're still alive--and trying--and trying leads to success!

This made my day! :) I've always been a super observer. I'm the youngest in a huge family, a writer, fine artist, teacher. It would be difficult for me not to notice these prints and or the tint bird you describe. Every day lately, in our below freezing temperatures here, I think of animals out there and see squirrels amazed at how they run around and climb up trees in this weather. I wish I could tell them I care but, you know, I'm sitting on my bottom just hoping I won't even have to get up to go somewhere in our house because my warm blankie is so warm, yet these squirrels could've been stunt doubles for movies like Die Hard. I totally understand your very well written and presented piece!
Warm wishes,
Alex

My warm blankie is so warm lol!! You know that?s right!!
I stand outside for a few minutes everyday because I?m a smoker. Kicking the habit but it still drags me out here? The negative temps are helping me out :)
We have a ton of squirrels here!! Have you ever seen black ones!! They?re so cute :)

We humans complicate things so much and there is certainly a lot to envy in the simplicity of the other living beings around us. A lovely little poem which resonates with me. Here's to taking life one tiny step at a time!
