Hi Jessica,
This poem mixes love and lust well. It shows who good you two are together. The line breaks work well to enhance the emotion. It shows how
much love means to you if it is missed so much if it ends.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Congratulations on placing second in the contest.
Have a nice day.

That is so beautiful. Your metaphor of love and a car work so well, it had me enthrawled. Love is hard to describe, but you've certainly put your stamp on with this one. It's fabulous, and I can only wish you the very best of luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

This passionate free verse poem is so steamy, yet done with the elegant teasing touch of a lover. You have sculpted the lines on the page with skill, creating a masterpiece of pace and pause that's breathless. Then you leave whthering. Bravo

It is a brilliant piece of free verse The feelings are deep and it has been conveyed effectively-a vessel stripped of motion - very strong feelings here ..All the best.

a powerful and moving poem about love and lust and all that entails. I can feel the love and lust in your words and am glad you found someone to share love with.

Ah, Love, with a good dose of obsession running beneath it! This flows beautifully, and you managed to make mechanic metaphors sound very romantic!
This is my favorite stanza:
I am in love
with the way he loves me,
and the way
he draws love from me.
It's the stuff of dreams and fantasies.
Best of luck in the what is love poetry contest. You have a very good entry here.

This is quite beautiful. Sounds like this fella must be a mechanic. Ha!
Great piece of work. Good luck in the What Is Love petty competition.

Now Jessica, is that a double entendre I see? Lol. This is a hot rod of a little poem. I might just have to go and park with it awhile. "I am in love with the way he loves me" is a beautiful turn of phrase.
