Oh how I love that I went searching for this gem!
This gogyohka poem drags me into its spell with the richness of metaphor and the imagery it creates in mind's eye.
To write what I loved about this poem suite would be just copying the entire poem... but I will say... your last line is just perfect!
Always a true pleasure and honour to read such quality art...

The streams do produce rainbow trout and they are so pink inside when you clean them. I like the images of your poem and the feeling of warmth in your poetic words.

I dream about you
with flirtatious flaming passion --
rebelling against dawn
(I think the above lines are very relatable, especially rebelling against the dawn. I think at some point in most people's lives, dreamy flirtatious flaming passion makes them want to push the dawn away.)

This feels surreal and full of wonderful imagery. My favorite part was:
"I cast a rock of time into the creek
and watch it drown ... uncomplaining
with the heavy weight of being --
the flowing stream's susurrous (susurrus)
carry gurgling rainbow trouts (trout) somehow fish don't get pluralized
And I loved the phrase "edge of sleep" as it makes the intangible tangible! Beautiful!
