When we are tempted by Satan things are uncontrollable. The tree of knowledge is the apple tree. The fig tree was questionable, they thought they ate of the fig tree. It's difficult to write a story of eighty words.

I used the fig as a ploy where Adam didn?t have to leave but knowing humanity would be their responsibility he feigned eating what Eve did and went coluntarily

I love your interpretation of this particular moment in history. I think we've all wondered about how that all went down. I like thinking about it like this - He didn't let the door hit us on my a**.
Thank you for sharing, and good luck in the contest,

This is a great twist on the original version, an excellent post my friend, I suppose the real problem wasn't the sex, as a lot of people think, they were married, but the disobeyed the eating of the fruit, once they were acquainted with sin, that had fallen, beautifully written, blessings Roy

My pleasure

I quite like God's casual language and the decision to keep his wife happy leading poor old Adam to get kicked out. "No more free meals" has a delicious twist of irony under the circumstances! :)

With an eighty-word limitation one has to maximize what is said quickly. Happy New Year.

I imagine they were surprised at the turn of events! I enjoyed this more light-hearted version of the fall of mankind. Best of luck with the contest and Happy New Year!
