Oh, can I relate to the Speaker here! I detest Winter because I am old and can never stay warm and Spring cannot return soon enough. I like your use of rhymes in lines 1 & 2. Rod

It was absolutely freezing where I am in the UK yesterday, even I couldn't bear to be out in it much. I can imagine how it must affect people who are older. A well written piece.
