The beginning alone blew me away...literally. Besides the obvious (great!!!) Picture. You started this story with much bravado and sureness. As if you were very eager to get going. I can feel that. Its not normal. Its special. Thank you. Cant wait to read more. And by the way that drawing on my 2nd page was by me of my baby sister. I was protecting her. Just wanted you to know. As a prologue, it hints of conflict and tragedy and a story that needs to be told. So I think it is extremely successful as an introduction to your bio.
Only suggestion is to change "if I was a ballerina" to the subjunctive "if I were a ballerina".
