Hi there Iza.... Just checking to find out why I am not getting any of your sweet poems... Nothing of yours is posted in mu messages... Are any of mine?
The only way for me (at this point) to find your posts is to click on your name in my Fans list... I wonder if you can see mine in messages?
This poem was such fun to read...

Thank you for sharing this with us. The heart can be a metaphor for so many things. I enjoyed reading, but the last line through me.
Can I quite? (I'm struggling with quite, did you mean a different word, maybe quit)

This is very interesting. Though listed as satire. It can be read as a heart in pain, struggling with a choice.
notes:
Can I quite?
or
Can I quit?
How about this slight alteration:
Ding Dong
Heed my song
Rinse and repeat
My heart's defeat
Is this it?
Should I quit?

You captured the heart beat here Iza, but I didn't understand the last line? What does (Can I quite?) mean? Perhaps you could say: (Can I compete?). Love Dolly x
