This chapter paints a fairly accurate picture of a marriage turning cold, with the husbands frustrations of being put aside. From everything I've learned about men is they need to feel that they are needed or else they become cold and distant. Having a wall placed up is a big mistake.

This is another excellent chapter. The suspense is killing me. I am not sure when we will get the mystery solved. I think to develop some of the other characters or side plots. If this is not helpful, ignore it. Have a blessed day.

I enjoyed this episode which show a growing tension between Angela and Paul. She doesn't seem very sure of him because he might leave her if she unburdons herself to him and he would make her call the police. Nicely written.

With every chapter, my mind shifts a bit and despite my determination not to, I find myself reading "clues" into every action. (which means you're doing your job!)
Odd (and yet so typical) that Ange isn't being at all honest with her husband yet her first instinct it to bemoan the fact he took his phone upstairs with him, as she'd (it seems) be more than willing to breach his trust and crack that thing open to see who he was texting!)
Hmmm. Maybe he knows more than he's letting on...
(I'll be up for the next chapter when you are!)

It seems to me deciding that someone has told the truth about something is a decision rather than a fact, but then we choose, are humans trustworthy, some perhaps, but not all the time, sometimes we will be protecting skmethong, but then loving someone can be a considered decision, well done, gratbpost, blessings Roy,

It's difficult keeping secrets from your partner as suspicious start thoughts of doubt on both sides and the rot sets in. You have created some tension here in this chapter Jacob, l love Dolly x x x

You're doing a great job building suspense in this story. I'm now afraid that Angela relationship with Paul is strained and she could possibly lose him over this. I am really liking this story.

Chapter 11 and no action. No movement. Rehashing and rehashing the same thoughts with no differences. She is still not being honest with anyone except maybe Michelle. The story is not moving. Karen
