I still have more to get through. This is so involving am going to copy this so I can read faster. I like this story very much. But without any points. I need to increase my time. I hope this does not offend you in any way. Karen

Excellent descriptions and even better dialogue. Theo has an air of mystery and magic, yet he is so kind and trustworthy. Destiny awaits? Wow. I can't wait to see what is next. Since I am catching up, that will be in the next few minutes. LOL.

Thank you so much for the six stars, Debi, and for getting your opinion on this chapter, too. I?m having fun with this world, but it?s difficult tying up all the loose ends while making it all believable as well.
I appreciate your support,
Rhonda

Another fantastic chapter! The scene is well described and allows the reader to settle in for a good story. The follow up to bring us up to date and to share the source of the picture were icing on a cake well baked. Enjoyed the read and look forward to the next episode. ann

The photo works great with the story, Rhonda. Another great job with this one. It is nice to see Theo back with Echo and Echo with her Kitty. Very good descriptive nature imagery in the beginning that creates a peaceful mood. Good descriptive detail for Theo, as well.
They have a good discussion about what had happened, and we learn about the power of the green mist. That could come in useful sometimes!! Also interesting is Theo telling Echo to drop her phone. I wonder if it was still protected by the mist or it just wouldn't identify their location since they are leaving.
It seems there is a little tension at the end of the story between Theo and Echo. He hasn't said much about himself and she calls him on it.
You do a good job bringing the serial killer back into the story, and Theo does a good job describing the specters.
I guess we will learn more about Concorde Valley, and maybe Echo will have some of her questions answered.
Well done, my friend.

Hi Pam,
Thank you so much for the six stars and review.
I decided to have a calming down chapter after the action, and to try to transition between worlds. I had to tie up some loose ends.
You?re right about Echo calling Theo out, and as she gets some distance between herself and danger, the persistent reporter will sneak back out. Theo can only hold out for so long, lol.
Thanks so much,
Rhonda

I'm enjoying this story. For a bit I thought these Theo and the Specters might be from a differert planet, but he says they have Greek herritage. At least, they seem safe at the moment. I'm anxious to learn more.

Hi Beth, thank you for reviewing and responding. Their world will be a bit of world within world sort of thing, based on Greek Mythology.
Take care,
Rhonda

Hello Rhonda,
You've written another outstanding chapter for the book. This one a bit calmer and more introspective, revealing more about the two main characters. The mysterious nature of Theo makes him even are appealing, of course, having green eyes and the physique of a warrior doesn't hurt either.
I like the dialogue and playful interaction of Theo and Echo. They seem like descendants of the Greek gods of old.
"So [intune] was she with her surroundings..." usually intune is two words. Para. 3
"carefully placed it[ ]around his" extra space here (end of Para. 5)
Well done.
Best wishes.
Robert

Thank you for the stars, Robert, and for your careful eyes. That?s so very helpful!
I did spend a little time with character development as I?m transitioning between worlds.
Yes on the Greek Gods, lol. That will come up in the next chapter.
Thanks so much, dear friend,
Rhonda

I really like this story. I can't wait to find out what secrets Theo is keeping. I think I understand why, but still would like to know more. I am guessing, a little more than guessing, that Junior isn't a good person and probably the serial killer.

Thank you so much, Barbara, and you have good instincts on Junior. He?s a bad character on many levels!
Take care,
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda this is another great continuation to the story. Echo is certainly lucky to have Theo by her side.
I have a few suggestions:
And listened intently. I would take away intently. It's not needed.
Theo laughed explosively:
Theo let out an explosive laugh. It would take care of another -ly word, and reads better, I think. Just a suggestion.
"What do you think should I say to them?" = "What do you think I should say to them?"
I so enjoy this story. Ulla xx

Hi Ulla, thanks so much for the tips. I struggled a lot writing and rewriting on this chapter, so I?m glad to have an extra set of eyes. The changes will be perfect, thank you!

She's spent sometime with Theo this time, and quality time at that, Theo coming out of this with a little bit less mystic than he was before, but he's definitively Echo's protector and benefactor, which is the way it should be, Happy belated birthday wishes Rhonda, well done, blessings Roy

Hi Roy!
Thank you for the Birthday wishes and the stars, my friend!
Theo's story
will start revealing itself soon as Echo is going to start getting persistent once she's not as scared.
But, as you can guess, the conflict isn't nearly over. Just a respite.
Take care, and Blessings to you and yours,
Rhonda

Theo is very mysterious, but so nice when he is with Echo. It has me wondering about his people, they do seem to have a magic feel about them. Now Echo is safe for a while, but for how long? She has many people after her, but not all of them for good reasons. All adds to the mystery of why. This was a lovely chapter, Rhonda, I enjoyed it a lot. I can see Echo and Theo ending up getting married. I think they are both in love with each other. :) I love a bit of romance! Well done, my talented friend. :)) Sandra xx

Hi Sandra, thank you for the brilliant stars, dear one!
Echo and Theo have a strong bond, one they?ve had to lean on while apart. They will need it later as things aren?t going to stay rosy for long, as I?m sure you?ve guessed!
Theo and his family will have time to explain things, but some of it she?ll have to figure out for herself.
Thanks so much for your lovely review.
Hugs,
Rhonda
