love red leaves - and your imagery of one hanging and waiting for the right time to let go is great

Another beautiful autumn poem. I love the gentle way you describe a lone leaf ready to separate from the tree. It's a waiting game. Beautifully written. You are a superb haiku poet. There is always exquisite imagery and multiple layers of emotion. Gretchen

Yes Fall is around the corner and eell written rich in Theme and Imagery.

Mea culpa. I commented on the wrong post. Below is the text review for your hesitant red leaf poem.

This is an exquisite post. Colors and verse paired together for a nice overall presentation.

I might consider: "wavers upon the bare bough" (or branch, or twig). It is the leaf that wavers. I would change to an initial capital letter for 'fall.' It is certainly a pun on its meaning.

I'm glad you kept this poem as is and I look forward to your other poem for the contest. There's a typo in the title but I'm sure you fixed it already. Loved the poem!

    I tried to change it last night but it was really hard. I am glad I kept it. Thank you big sister. I wrote a love 5/7/5 for the contest. I hope I don't confuse people. LoL it's called, whispers in your ear
