I'm not a great believer in time travel because it does my head in even thinking about the weird possibilities it conjures up. I guess that's not really what your poem is about, though, is it?

One day the future WILL become the past - just ask George Orwell about how his dystopian 1984 is now well in the rearview mirror or Paul McCartney about 'When I'm 64'

Your next proposition is a little more difficult - can we transplant positive things from the past into our future? That might be nice. Good luck getting it to happen!

Thanks, optimism is the future that becomes the past. In between is now a byproduct of then. The big question is, so what?

You left the "e" off "future" in the first line, and "hopefull" should be "hopeful." Other than that, I liked your poem. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.
