I like the comparisons you make, the forms fear can insert itself into our lives. Fear can be a dark shadow, a whisper, cold, a monster. Fear is able to shape shift into different forms, choosing the form that we are most vulnerable to in that moment.

Well I think you defined fear well here and it's a good theme to address with a means of defeating it at the end. Perhaps more positive reaction to it might have balanced the verse a bit more as I felt it was a bit too weighted down by the negatives. But well done because I still think it's a good entry for this contest! Good luck! Debbie
