I'm not sure what this is about but I enjoyed the rhyming words and wish you luck with the contest, it is hard to write a poem with so few syllables, love Dolly x

Reminds me of the three wise men Bill. The picture talks to me and the words tell the story in my Leif's eye. I can see what you are saying so clear. Thank you so much for following your gift wherever it takes you without worry. We need all the help we can get on this planet. Continue to do the work you do. Continue to be great.

This seems to be a new take on an idiom or lyrics. I like the internal rhyme with bones/stones. It has the right number of syllables! Good post for that particular writing prompt, and good luck in that contest.

Excellent entry for the 2/5/2 prompt contest. I like the presentation too. Concrete images are easy to visualize.
Good syllables count and connection between lines.

That is an interesting take on an old saying. This is unique and clever enough to be a front runner. But, alas, I am often wrong on these things.
Let us just say, I liked it. Nice job. D

I'm sorry. I may be very dense, but I do not get what you are trying today here. Obviously I get the twisting of the adage, 'sticks and stones...' and there's even a hint at the old song, 'Dem bones'. But for me the sentence does not make sense, unless I'm missing a meaning in 'stick my stones'?

Meaning is for me and that one person this connects to, John. I?m no Keats.

Ok. Fair enough. Possibly don't put it out to a mass audience, if it is not for anyone other than two people?

Whenever I hear "Them Bones", I think of the final episode of "The Prisoner" where they went into a lengthy version of the song, "Them Bones". This was a humorous 2-5-2 and a great play upon words.

This I assume is a play on sticks and stones may break my bones? So a rather unique sentiment of love and affection? I like the musical rhythm of this. Well done and good luck! Debbie

Intriguing 2-5-2 poem with an interesting accompanying image.
It feels like a mix of them bones, them bones, them dry bones + sticks and stones may break my bones.
I wish you well in the contest.
