Wow! An excellent poem, even though not really my sort of thing. I imagine this would go down very well with the Catholic Church. Your rhyme and rhythm are expertly handled and the variety of associations you link to the Virgin are impressive.

The wonderful thing is Jesus through God renders us all co equal, co heirs with Him, Mary is not more than her Son, nor more than us, (Romans 8:17)
And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. Mark 3:33-35, beautifully written, Marie, blessings Roy

Beautiful words and presence! I love Panagia as She's called. August 15th has always been important to me, being Greek Orthodox Christian, we held August 15th as Sacred. We fasted and we were not able to raise our voices. We couldn't play music or watch TV use electric appliances or anything sharp like scissors. When I was getting engaged my husband asked me on August 3rd. I said yes but we went to a Greek Church after hours actually and we lit candies and kissed the icons, crossed, all that I do and he officially asked me again. We didn't even know the Church and were planning to be married by the ocean. But a priest saw us there and spoke with us and gave us a Bible from his office shelf that we still have 11 years later. I had to blessed our engagement on what I always called Panagia Day, as a kid. She was a rock star to me. I have her icon by my bed since my crib and I respect her beyond respect. I painted a painting of her for "What is 'Beauty," in FanArtReview site. At the Church Christmas play with I was eight I was a Shepard but instead I sewed an outfit myself to look like Mary and during the play I tossed my sheep to someone else and looked lovingly at Baby Jesus and my parents said everyone thought I was Mary. It sounds silly now but I was overwhelmed with love for Mary. Thank you for giving me a reason to share how much I love Her. :) Alexandra

Nicely presented for us to comprehend the comings and goings of Joseph and Mary.
He underwent a hash fate by the hands of people who were scared of change. But when he rose to heaven he forgave all Tose whom done him wrong.
Forman even in todays society is hard ti accept for oboes reasoning.
