I'm glad you liked this because it is actually written for my husband who recently lost his only sibling , his older brother. This was their relationship. Thank you so much for your kind words.

This is precious of the bond of brothers. I have three sons and three grandsons so I see it every day. Even as they age, they've remained close. Wonderful poem that tugged at my heart.
Sending you my best today as always.
Sally :))

This is a lovely poem about two brothers growing up together
The poet uses a clever metaphor in saying the boys are siblings "like trees amid weeds", This is added to in the phrase"brown brother trees change", speaking of the colors of Autumn that bedeck the clothes the two boys wear. Speaking of them as trees the poet lulls them to sleep with the cold of Winter, waking only with Spring stirring them with
"mist, warmth and light".As the poem continues it touches briefly on God's Power, planting the seeds "over and over"
Finally the poem speaks of two brothers from the Bible , Moses and Aaron. They lived together in harmony with God, each other and the Seasons, until the journey of each life was over/ cheers Cass
