It seems that Ben is really in tune with the Spirit and has already changed Angelo's heart. I liked that he called him by his real name and his friends fled because of the intensity of the Spirit's presence. But Ben is quick to confess that he is just a man with human bowel problems. Maybe Mrs. Koska's food didn't agree with him. Lol.

Happens to the best of us - if we are humans.
Thank you for your very nice review.

Ben's latest mission to confront La Lama and change him seems to have worked out well. I have to admit I don't understand your last sentence. That line is usually used today to belittle someone. Another line is missing a word: . . . Tony (were) bound . . .

Thank you. In context, I'm okay with the last line (Your momma) Ben is saying, "Let's go, your mother is waiting for you."
Thank you for your very kind review.

An unexpected ending! A conclusion which verifies that Ben is indeed very human despite all that God is going through him. I am glad to hear he makes time to pray and publicly shared where his gift is from. Well done.

Thank you.
I always appreciate your reviews.

Ben farted! Now that was funny. Great comic relief, Wayne. You are building a character that is impossible not to love, to want in his/her life, if it's only for a weekly visit. Ben rocks!

Smiley face here!
Thank you.
Your view matters!

I love these chapters where Ben seems to look into an antagonist's soul and he looks into Ben's eyes and becomes convinced that he needs to reform his life. You do this so well, Wayne.
I also loved Ben's convincing remark to Tony about why he couldn't be an angel. Perfect! - Jim

Everyone knows that angels don't pass gas.

Ben is now settled in accommodation and continues on his mission. He is willing to do anything to help the people find God and states that he doesn't need a flock himself just the satisfaction of acquainting people with the Church. His meeting with La Lama is at first, for the reader, one of tension until it is quickly realised that Ben is unafraid and that, quite miraculously, he is speaking God's words. Once again, Wayne, your story is expressed well and reads fluently with plenty of pace to keep the reader fully engaged. At the start there is a small edit - "If you (don't) mind a room where a man died." But otherwise, nothing to change. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Thank you! I'll fix that.

Persons? Is that like Everyman? Just a thought. This continues to an exciting tale, mixing the Gospel successfully with the tough life of the streets. Well done.

Yes! I wanted a subtle way to let people know that we could 'all' follow God in one way, or another.
Thank you for your kind review.

I guess Ben does seem like an sngel to those that see he is still alilve and apparently heatthy again. Miricles seem to follow him whereeve he goes as he lives his calling. I laughed at how he reminded the kid that he wasn't an angel because an angel would fart.
