It's great that Ben has come at the right time to help with a healing prayer and also to help fix an environmental problem!
Simple plurals for these two last names:
A reacquainting with the Tolsen's allowed him to meet (Tolsens)
"Yes, the Simmerman's across the river there." (Simmermans)

Thank you. What I had in my head did not match what I put on paper. Thank you.

Very good chapter with lots of changes going on. Unfortunately, the miners are right about the dam breaking in spring. Does Ben lead them in religious services? That's the only reason I see for the wives to accept the saloon girl.

Thank you for your kind review.

This is another excellent chapter. It was a pleasure to read from beginning to end. I like the way Ben solved the new mom's problem. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a bless day.

As Ben continues his calling, he now arrives at a scene of impending doom for the town at the hands of a sworn enemy of his. Seems like he attracts as much evil as good as he travels through the west, but I guess that is the fate of those who follow the path of Christ.
You're doing a wonderful job with this interesting and wholesome western tale, Wayne, of a good man on a mission. Jim

Thank you. I hope the next part doesn't disappoint. I'm a bit nervous about it.

It looks like they need to find a couple of sticks of dynamite.LOL Isn't it amazing what an evil person can think up to bring devastation and unhappiness everywhere they go? That Salinger fellow is pure evil and he needs to be dealt with. I'm sure with God's help, Ben will be the one to do that. Well done Wayne. Nancy:)

Thank you for your very nice review.

Ben is certainly being used by God wherever he goes. Salinger will try to destroy him along with God's work, but none can defeat God. An interesting and quite different story, which I am enjoying.

It seems God has given Ben the gift of healing. I'm sure he will know what do about the river being dammed up and the possiblity of the town being destroyed. Salinger would like to see him destoryed. He isn't having much luck keeping girls with Ben around.

I love the way you finished this episode, and the way it's leading to real purpose for Ben's existence. It's an amazing thing when someone apprehends the calling of God, and I hope in this myself, beautifully written Wayne, blessings Roy

I could almost do a repeat of last week's review. It's all on Ben. He silently drifts through the pages of your novel depositing God in one form or another. One feels he is God-infused. And now we have the underpinnings of mammon in the person of Mason Salinger and are left on another of your famous cliffhangers.

Thank you for your kind review.
And thank you immensely for the six stars!

Ben continues his travels doing good works and always doing labouring rather than relying on manna from Heaven. Miraculously, by praying to God, he helps Clara produce milk for her new-born. His latest encounter with the miners has revealed a problem with the river drying up and a dam being built. The worry now is that it might burst and wipe out the community. This chapter is a lengthy one and moves at pace, the theme of Ben's faith-inspired actions continuing to run throughout. An enjoyable read. Thanks for sharing. Debbie
