Oh Sweet Regina, you amaze me with your big heart. Thank you so much for not only the bonus stars, kind words and the lovely review, but for being such an awesome friend. I appreciate you and the beautiful review package so much!
I am trying to get as much written as I can before I go in for my first surgery next month, so any extra info about yourself for me to add to your birthday poem would be greatly appreciated.

Bless your sweet and caring ♥
I'm a former sportswoman, in
swimming, cross-country, and I
was also an equestrienne. I'm from
Long Island, NY, and I miss NY, but
have been living in North Carolina
for over 35 years. My dear late
husband is from Asheville where we
reside. My daughter and son-in-law
have charming Southern accents
that I love. I joined the Navy at the
age of 22. I met my husband in
the Navy all those years ago. I didn't
stay in long, he was in for 8 years.
Then, we moved to Raleigh, NC,
then 3 years later to Asheville.
He was a sweetheart, we miss him
very much. He is interred at the
State Veteran's Cemetery which is
30 minutes from our home by car.
I'm also an artist, and former
cake artist (did cake decorating for
about 25 years.) I love the Lord
and try to be a good Christian so
I can be with Him someday. Oh,
Debi, your address is in my room
somewhere, but I can't find it, could
you please give me your address
again. Will start praying for you
being in surgery next month. Love
and in Jesus Name, Regina.

Congratulations on your win, Debi. This is a great poem to carry in your pocket. Though we may not see our grandchildren every day, we can whisper their names to the Lord in prayer, knowing that He is watching over them.

Awe, thank you so much Anne. You are so sweet and I don't have the words to tell you how much I appreciate your awesome review and kind words, plus the lovely six stars. Except, thank you again sweet friend.
There is a handful of friends who have reviewed me all the time and that I have come so close to, so as a thank you , I have your birthday down for June 22nd. Is that correct? I am having eye surgeries done on the 14th & 28th, so am going to try to get them done before then. If there is anything extra you can tell me before then, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks dear friend.

You are welcome, Debi. Yes my birthday is June 22, and I will be 85.

I love this! I love the message of no one being able to take away our right to prayer, despite the current state of the world. God bless the grandkids!

God is good. I love this. We all need a good prayer in our pocket to help us get through our daily lives and much more than that. God bless you! :)

The poem flowed smoothly with rhymes unforced. I am sure the kids and grand kids will equally love to carry this poem in their pockets to inspire them hope to ensure that your constant prayers/wish for them come true. Well done, dear, and good luck in the contest.

Hey there Sweetie. I appreciate your kind words for this one. It was a fun one to write after I figured out what I would keep in my pocket if I were to keep one in my pocket. It for sure would be a prayer.. Thanks again.

I hope your family enjoyed the sentimental much as I did. The rhymes are delightful and I hope we all have a poem in our pocket with a prayer in our hearts.

I can guess who wrote this poem. It is full of love and feeling. Including the prompt subject matter in the poem was a clever idea. Good luck in the contest.
