This is a lovely triolet poem, JLR telling of the coming of spring by these 'ornate blooms.' I can't think of the name of these blooms, but instantly my mother-in-law's garden came to mind. She grew these by the score and knew the names of each variety. A lovely read, a lovely memory it brought up.

An intricate and demanding short form which presents quite a challenge.
The effect is to suggest the cyclical nature of the seasons and plants. The illustration certainly supports this theme!

K yes we are so excited!the next nine out even months I just live a richer more active life.

I liked the theme. You expressed it well in your descriptive
word choices. I could see everything as I read. Your repeating
lines were well written and fit in perfectly to carry the meaning--
not just as repeated lines. The art choice was a good one, too.

I like your celebration of spring with this triolet about the "ornate blooms bursting forth." The bleeding hearts here don't bloom until months after the last snow but I like the idea of the colorful blooms appearing just after the snows recede and the "wet elixir" of the spring rains.
