Very cleverly composed. The necessary words do not feel forced in your poem. Your writing delivers a clear message that I agree with. One cannot experience the extremes of emotion without feeling either one first, if that makes sense. Like hardly ever turns in love but love and hate can quickly change simultaneously. A great read.

An interesting view of love and hate. I too have heard they are two sides to the same coin. However, my personal opinion is that real unconditional love cannot be destroyed. Thanks for sharing

thanks both emotions are among the most powerful emotions of all. a common romcom trope is two people met who hate each other but over time fall in love, or the reverse darker trope lovers who end up hating each other and destroying each other in the process. An interesting example of that is the K drama Trolly on Netflix.
