I have to admit that I chuckled, although if that had happened to me - hearing that in the middle of the night, I would probably have expired, on the spot! holy moly!
That is a great story, mainly because it's true, and you told it very realistically. Congratulations on winning the contest and for getting All Time Best! very good!

Congratulations on your well deserved win! I quite believe this, it brought back a memory of my late husband, he died of liver and lung cancer, he only had 6 weeks from diagnosis and his death. That was 40 years ago. I dreamt he was walking out of the cemetery shouting for me, telling me he hadn't died. He was buried. That dream stayed with me for a long time. My two young boys were the ones who kept me sane. I love your husbands strong believe that he was never going to die until he was good and ready! Well done! :)) Sandra

Thank you, and thanks for sharing your story. My experience was not a dream. I was wide awake after Des's first yell. The dog heard him too. He never came back as strong again, but I often felt his presense. He seems to be gone now. Des was an ornery old fart, but I loved him.

I believe it was his spirit, and animals can sense things also, I also believe people have a right to live the way they want, if he had gone for check ups , the cancer would have been caught early. yet we all have our destiny on this earth.

Thank you. Actually, we did get along quite well. If he started on one of his rants I would simply walk away. I even changed him into a cat lover in our years together. Des could be difficult, and made a lot of enimies, but I would not put up with his nasty attitude. Thank you for the six stars. I appreciate them.

Thank you. Des was not an easy person to live with or even like. I refused to put up with his nasty attitude, so he finally realized it didn't get him anywhere with me. Most of the time Des was quite human areound me. He softened up over the years, and I changed him into a cat lover in our time together.

Thank you. Des was not religious in any manner. However, one of Des's friends came to the hospital and prayed with Des to ask for forgiveness. It surprised me Des agreed to do so. I think maybe he felt he better ask for forgiveness just in case.
