The writer took us into a poignant dialog of pain and hope. While the reality of challenging circumstances may not be comfortable to read, I celebrate the writer's freely expressed prayer as a struggle. I liked the simple and direct word usage to express serious states of contemplation. Good work.

A nice series of prayers, Ricky. My favorite lines were: ashes to ashes and dust to dust, For I finally can see around the bend. Amen. That's a fine piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing.
