The 'unsettling' part is the 'being watched by the tv.' It's bad enough my online purchases are being catalogued and used against me ["People who bought that also might be interested in THIS...Is it nice to tempt people in such ways? No. It. Is. NOT!]

Now here is an entry worth considering. Well done, and best wishes for placing 1-2 or three. As for teevee... We have, by and large, entered into the twilight zone, if and when we turn the teevee on. It's called an idiot box for a reason I suppose therefore I propose we choose our programming carefully.

I have read a few entries for this writing prompt, and I believe yours is the best one so far. The rhyming is perfect, the syllable count is on point, and it is a humoristic piece that made me laugh. Well done!
