Those extra calories are easy to put on. They guys don't seem to take the issue too seriously, as they are digging into the donuts at the end. I had to put up a lot of resistance not to buy cinnamon rolls when they were practically begging me to take them when I was in the supermarket this week. I may not be able to resist if I see them next week. Very natural sounding and witty dialogue. Very enjoyable. judi

I haven't had a donut in many years, though I have had those round rolls you bake and then smear on the orange icing. ummm.
Well, next week, maybe succumb to the cinnamon rolls and then at least you'll have a smile on your face :)

It's amusing and sounds like friends hassling each other. And the guy with the donut fits right in as if you saw the picture first. You could have entered it in a dialogue only contest, maybe even won.

actually I first wrote that he would share some fudge his wife had made, but when I saw this picture, I changed it to donuts.

Have you ever had days when the phone rings all day long?
I am trying to write, and the blasted phone rings about every 5 minutes, all wanting to sell me something. I am now frustrated. The last two calls, I said, "she's not here. This is her mother-in-law." so far, I've heard the lovely "click." Wish I'd thought of this sooner!
