You got snowed in, Alie? Do you mean that white stuff I see falling on TV? :) Down here the weather has been cool. Cloudy every morning, but no rain. Still, up here in the hill country, we get watered by the clouds, fog everywhere. Don't need snow just need water. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much Jose for reviewing and your amazing comments. Yep real snow! Nope not on TV! I imagine the snow you all got a couple of years ago was enough to last a life time?

As one who hasn't traveled much, I found this piece fascinating. It is skillfully put-together and vividly descriptive of how you all managed during a blizzard, with burst pipes, need to get groceries, etc. (typo in para 3--surverying)

Quite an adventure! Well-narrated. Reminds me of the famous Blizzard of '78 when I just moved to MASS. I liked the ending about you and Tabitha.
there was no where=>nowhere to go.

This is well written and descriptive.
Hard to believe there could be snow in April, although being raised in Michigan, I do remember a few occasions.
Climate change is real!!
Thanks for sharing.

I wouldn't want to be a Smart car in a blizzard--it would get
lost in an instant. You did a great job, aryr, with your account
of the blizzard. I'm thankful you and everyone else made it
through ok. Your hubby is a hard worker--very dedicated.
I'm happy for you that your kitty, Tabitha, is there and you
have internet to write. You gave readers great details.
Stay safe, Jan

I'm so glad you wrote about this experience. So thankful that you and Jim and the others are safe! And I remember about your doctor's appointment but I wasn't thinking how dangerous it was for you to be driving in that little Smart car!
I love you accepting attitude of "Such is life." Our neighbor used to add, "And it keeps getting sucher and sucher." Lol.

Every now and then one sees a big rig towing a trailer with a small car on board, and I'm wishing to myself, very enviously, I wish I could do the same, we don't have the money to travel anymore, nor could we store the rig, beautifully written Alie, thanks for sharing, blessings Roy

I would like to go on adventure driving all over the USA but I would not enjoy a blizzard. You did well, the story is easy to follow with a nice flow. Who were the workers?
Blessed be.

That was quite the adventure, Ali! I'm glad you were parked in a campground when the storms hit. What an adventure! Now you can just relax and write about it. lol Thanks for sharing.
A few little spags: "By Tuesday morning all hell broke loss(loose),"
"a propane run and get groceries, (things) many were out of."
"on the phone and Ipad(iPad). He..."
"9:00 pm-given his different time zones." - replace the hyphen with a comma Tip: When you want to use a dash, put spaces before and after it. Without these it is a hyphen, which joins two words together. :)

Oh, my! Sounds quite the adventure. I would have loved being there. at least, you were all warm and cozy, and had Tabitha with you. Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoyed reading it. You certainly described what being caught in a blizzard is like.
