What a romantic scene for a much waited for and wanted marriage proposal. Even friends in tuxedos waiting the table.
It must have taken a lot of planning with a lot of people.

I enjoyed how you shared this special memory with us of the family room where your own family with your beloved commenced with the proposal.
Your boyfriend certainly went to a lot of trouble to make the evening memorable.

Forty-one years! It must have worked . . . and, congratulations! LOL. Marriage isn't an easy task even for those madly in love who like most everything about the other. The rest, never make it long. Thanks for sharing.

    Ah, yes, quite a task it is, this marriage venture! Our road certainly has not been rock-free. Yet, we remain committed and continue to learn as we go.

Awww, Mama Baer, how romantic! But how mischievous of your nearest and dearest to play along that your boyfriend had forgotten it was valentines day... I would've been nursing my injured heart all day long!
