The objective correlative of your work reminisces the ordeal of a seemingly kidnapped schoolboy protagonist.
The work highlights his incarceration and confinement to a chair; his viciously being gagged; his suppressed tearful moments and reminiscences of his mother's last words, when the bus arrived to convey him to school.
The work earns its texture through its effective use of imagery.
Excellent work. Bravo.

Short, sweet and very amusing. Well done on coming up with such a clever interpretation of the writing prompt. :-) I remember my own school days experiences often feeling like I was in a prison with no escape. I thoroughly enjoyed this read.
