Hi Brett, I have to admire you for writing about this most troublesome area on earth. It's a huge and complex task you've taken on. I know quite a bit about the area's history but would hesitate to write about it.
A novelist, Leon UrIs did a great job of this in his novel 'The Haj'. You should read it if you haven't. Ulla:)))

I like this episodic work, that reveals how God fulfilled the biblical prophesies of the return of the Jewish people to their own state of what we call Israel, the captivity of the Jews by the Persians, and earlier by the Assyrians, and their return and rebuilding of Jerusalem under Nehemiah. But the last restoration was also predicted in the OT. But you've written this great account of the complex re establishment of Israel, so well done Brett, well done, blessings Roy

I like this episodic work, that reveals how God fulfilled the biblical prophesies of the return of the Jewish people to their own state of what we call Israel, the captivity of the Jews by the Persians, and earlier by the Assyrians, and their return and rebuilding of Jerusalem under Nehemiah. With so many mandate, agreements and resolutions in regard to the area it all becomes somewhat complicated. I know there always seems to some battles and disagreements going on between the Jewish people and the Arabs over the land. I don't pretend to understand it all but you are doing a good job of research for those who may be more personally involved.

Again, thank you for educating us.
The Jewish Insurgency of 1944-1948 in Mandatory Palestine, a paramilitary Jewish conflict fronted by underground Zionist groups (This was during WW II. Of course Jewish people would migrate. They were being murdered by Hitler.)
