You've compiled a whole lot of information over your first seven chapters from your book: The Sea of Galilee. You are now about to get to the parts I expect to know a little more about. Thanks for sharing. I'm enjoying it!

Appreciate your support.

You continue to amaze me with all the research you must have done to write these chapters, Brett. The Sea of Galilee, to me is just a vague memory from Bible studies when I was a child. Thanks for enlightening me, but don't expect me to remember these details. lol Great job.

It is amazing that the part of the world has seen sure terrible events taking place over the centuries. All this time I've thought of the sea of Galilee as it existed in the New Testament and assumed things remained pretty much the same as back them. Of course, time marches on and I should have known better, but the truth was I only thought of it in Biblical terms. Thank you for sharing more recent history of the area.

A lot has happened around the Sea of Galilee over the years, both biblically and secularly. Appreciate the review.

Very nice, I am enjoying the history.
I did notice one item I stubbled on.
"This move cut it off from them."
I think it would be okay to repeat.
This move cut off the water from the Crusaders.
Just a thought.
Thanks for sharing

I know the crusaders were eventually beaten in the holy land, but they did rule there for a long time. The harm that Sarah did in helping God with His promise still has its repercussions today, beautifully written Brett, an excellent post, blessings

Your writing showed you did a lot of research to write this piece. This isn't my favorite era of history but I enjoyed reading this especially the bullet points concerning the aftermath. Very nice job.

This was not at all a peaceful time, was it? I am always amazed when I hear about this time in history. I still don't completely understand it. My husband, and all four of my sons are history buffs. I frustrate them because I struggle understanding it. I'm not sure why, my brain just doesn't retain it. I do enjoy reading and you present it in an easy to understand way.
